During the COVID-19 lockdown, Wilson and his daughter Katherine began hunting together while looking for a better way to feed their dogs. They started with wild possum and quickly noticed how much their dogs enjoyed it, along with improvements in their energy, coats and overall condition.
They began sharing the food with friends and family, and as more dogs enjoyed it, they realised it could become something bigger. Katherine came up with the name Bush to Bowl, and what began as a father-and-daughter idea grew into the business it is today.

We hunt and source our own meat, carefully inspect it, then process and package it ourselves. This means we know exactly where our pet food comes from and how it has been handled.
Our team handles the whole process, from hunting and sourcing through to cutting, packing and freezing. It’s straightforward, locally sourced pet food made right here in New Zealand.
